Um... I'd definitely get that in writing... I just looked at the oracle
store and it looks like partitioning is still an extra cost item... I also
checked the price guide...

This also listed partitioning as an "Enterprise Edition Option"...

My dear friend, you're wrong. That practice has stopped with 8i. Partitioning option *is* an integral part of 9iEE without an additional check to sign. I got a verbal confirmation from my oracle sales rep and I'll try getting a written (email) one as well.
