x$tables/views are nothing but a clever implementation of SGA C structures
as virtual tables. This is also in line with the RDBMS that all metadata etc
should be accessible from tables.

Hi,
I have a doubt,please clarify.
All we know about x$tables(fixed tables) and
these all are in-memory table. When instance startup the data will be brought
back in this tables ,
when Instance off data will go,correct?
My question is since data is not stored in datafiles for this tables how it
brings the data when instance startup,
from where it brings.?
Please answer.
Thanks in advance.
Syed
