Re: confused about SID and SERVICE_NAME in tnsnames.ora

Hi!

Check from "non-working" server what lsnrctl services says. Is this service registered?
If is, check servers listener log, if nothing foud from there, turn on sqlnet tracing in admin level & see what you got in tracefile.
