Why oh why did I not wait? I tracked down and purchased Tom's previous Expert One-on-One Oracle a couple months ago. I even checked to make sure a new edition was not forthcoming. *sigh* Did not check enough I guess.

I'll have to compare the two to see if I want to 'upgrade'.

I am waiting, impatiently, for Cary's book (preordered on Amazon). I just attended the Oracle9i Performance Tuning Class and am quite pumped about tuning. Especially since we have recently experienced some performance issues.
