So, it's nothing like OCP where you get the certification when you spew out certain amount of the green stuff? I wonder how long will it take before seeing
oracle masters who don't know how to take a hot backup.

And having sat through the beta of the masters exam, let me reiterate what Reichert said in the article. You really do have to have the hands on experience to pass it. I've been using Oracle for something like 15 years now, and training others in the DBA world for 11 or so of those 12 years, and this was the hardest exam I've ever sat through.
