I'm not sure specifically about Designer 9i.
But in most ERD tools you could copy the diagram (Edit/SelectAll, then
Edit/Copy), and then paste it let's say into Word.
Then, you could save it in any format you wish.

I find it pretty amazing that we only have one option here - to print it

paper.
I know somebody figured this out once by installing a print driver that saved the result to an image file of some kind, but I cant find the reference for it.
