May I ask why?
Is this to support some app that must reside on Novell?
If if it does, it doesn't mean that the database must be on Novell also.
Try and convince the powers that be to put the database on a Linux server, or if they don't mind their IO at 50%, on Windows.
I would imagine that supporting Oracle on Novell these days when it is far from a mainstream platform would be at times frustrating.
