Are you connected as the index owner? IIRC, you need to do that to see anything in V$OBJECT_USAGE.

Hi all:
I tried to start monitoring an index via:
alter index OWNER.INDEX monitoring usage; Then I queried the v$object_usage view expecting to see a row there for the INDEX, but the view was empty. Does anyone see what I'm doing wrong here?
thanks
Gene
