Why don't you leave that parameter unset and let you CBO to make an appropriate decision? CBO has all the necessary information: block density, number of rows, hash size estimate etc. and can probably make an itelligent decision. After all, CBO was written by the very same people who wrote OUI, which was dicussed in a separate thread.
