Hi,
Probably the prefered credential for the NODE is set to ORACLE. That is always set to an OS account. The account that OEM spawns the dbsnmpj process to run the job.

PROBLEM: I have several jobs scheduled for nightly execution and have
been
working just fine. The preferred credentials are sys as sysdba.
Yesterday, I
changed the password to the ORACLE user account (to where the exports
are
created) and my jobs started failing (User authentication failed---no
error
number). This morning I changed the ORACLE user account password back to
what it was and the jobs then completed. WHY? preferred credentials are
set
to sys not oracle.
