You may try to convert ADABAS programer to program for this database.
ADABAS also use arrays and arrays of structure in the database design.

Worked with it for about three years. It is a multi-value database that follows the design of the Pick database. A field can hold more than one piece of data, much like an array. Good luck in trying to hire anyone with any experience programming against a multivalue database. I would say this is a shrinking market. If you have to integrate this database with other database platforms(Oracle, SQL Server, DB2) then I wish you luck. It also is going to be a real pain trying to train your (L)user that will be running queries against this database with tools like excel and access. If possible I would try to stay away from it.
Just my $.02

Subject: Slightly off subject - UniData DB
Does, or has, anyone worked with IBM's UniData DB? Positives and negatives? Where is this product going? Any comments whatsoever.
Thanks,
