re. dbms_profiler... does it handle java-based packages at all?
I tried to run it against the developer's code, and got a UTL_SMTP error.
I thought it was the email server they were referring to, after making that change I ran the code by itself, the error did not appear.
Now (groan) I don't know for sure whether it was because of dbms_profiler the first time, or that the Exchange server did not like the STMP e-mail very much.
Perhaps I forgot to grant a privilege re. dbms_profiler to the user, I wasn't running dbms_profiler as SYS. I thought I had granted all the privs required though. I am logging a TAR with Oracle to ask them if dbms_profiler can handle Java-based packages.
