Hi DBAs,
I have Oracle 8.1.6 and 8.1.7.4 installed on the same WinNT server. The instance is running ok in 8.1.6. I am trying to upgrade to 8.1.7.4. I did the following:
1.Backup
2. Run u0801060.sql
I get lots of errors such as missing or invalid option for creating public synonyms, package standard gets invalid and hence
unavailable.
3. I run the 8.1.6 catalog and catproc to get object valid again.
Any ideas why I am getting this running u0801060.sql
Thanks
Rick
