Jack I get the same problem
I am using 9.0.1.1.1 enterprise edition with automatic undo management
I create a new undo tablespace and then set the new one as the active undo
tablespace.
This allows me to drop the old one. However don't try to take the old one
offline, its some bug in 9.0.1.1.1 which will crash your db. Just drop it
and get rid of the datafiles.
