My boss has promised to a client this kind of deal: we will install the linux
machines with Oracle on them, the only backup are the RAID disks. No Oracle
Parallel Server or RAC. All server administration will be done remotelyincluding
OS administration.
OK it is possible but the maximum recovery time will be 2 hours. The only local support will be for shutting down or starting up the linux machines no more than that.
What do you think about this situation?
Any advice is welcomed.
Best regards,
Ciprian Maftei
