Paula,

Your assumption is correct. There is no separate session.

But trace would (hopefully) capture what was run during the session.

Or tracing that particular session.

Question:

I assumed that query rewrite was within the same session. Does Oracle spawn a separate session when using query rewrite?????

How about an Explain Plan? Or tracing with Event 10046?

Hi,

Is there any way to see the query statement after the query statement is rewritten by Oracle with materialized views?

Many thanks in advance.

Chuan
