I can wholeheartedly second Paula's comments. All this technology is great, but I find it is a big difference when you can associate the person with the name and postings. It is interesting how you form a picture of someone from reading their posts and how that picture compares with reality. Sometimes the match is fairly good and in some cases I was utterly surprised.

As a presenter I want to especially thank everyone who attended my session and especially those who intercepted me and commented on the presentation.

And a very special thank you to Jonathan for endorsing me. I am certain that had a lot to do with the turnout to my session.
