Why do you think so?
Oracle creates a session for you, because even though it works in *background*, it actually connects as dba_jobs.log_user ... Have you tried it to see if it will work or not? I'd say try it ...

jobs are run from seperate background scripts. If I use execute immediate and run an alter session, will it take for the session? there is no way to really verify it.
