Thanks for your reply. Iam in the process of checking with my Netbackup Administrator about the parameter: Max_jobs_per_client. After seeing your E-Mail, I too looked into the online manual and it seems the value should be = Number of streams X No.Of Classes. In my case No.Of classes equals to 1, and since I would like to use 3 tape drives thru 3 channels, I think Max_Jobs_per_client must be set to 3. I forwarded the info to my Netbackup Admin.

you will find this setting in the Netbackup preferences window (Netbackup
Java console).
