Definitely application has problems, that's what I just started working on. 
This all comes from one session, I was able to reproduce this from direct
sqlplus connection and I did'nt do descs. See raw trace below
The point is, these are HARD parses, which terribly damages trace data,
since there is no unusual hard parses without 10046 set. I'm not able to get
reliable data.

So there is one parse for every two executes. I think that there is a
problem 


in the application. It could be a describe that precedes every other execute



or so or a soft parse happens for each. Or ......



Could it that 40 different sessions run in the same trace file ? Each
session 


will do a soft parse no matter what.
