OCFS = Oracle Cluster File System. An open source project lead
by Wim Coekaerts from Oracle. There is no such thing as raw FS,
it's just raw (without any file system). And I just learned about
this NBD (Network Block Device) from this list. So that's a third
option.

I think it's just the support that's different in base vs standard and
premium.
RH made the source RPM available for download, there are litertlly thousands
of
them.
And to answer your previous e-mail, you don't necessarily need RHAS to play
with
RAC. The only reason you need RHAS is if you want to use OCFS.

In the same vane, does anyone know the difference between the "Base", "Standard", and "Premium" versions of RH AS2.1? And will any of these work with 9i RAC (if the difference is more than just support)? And I don't suppose it's available for download anywhere for testing, is it?
The RedHat site isn't very helpful here...
