Hi all,
Can anyone tell me if there is any general guide line or benchmark, which tells us that for running a certain number of transactions in a specified time, or for a certain size of DB, the Server Configuration should be like what?
And what is the way of finding (through a query or any tool for it) the number of transactions on a system in a specified time. I have to convince my management that we need to upgrade our servers and I need such facts to back me up
Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

Hussain
