RE: XWindows for WinNT

I cannot tell you its simple and reliable last I messed with it, but you can get XFree86 working with Cygwin. Check out http://www.cygwin.com/ and http://cygwin.com/xfree/. An initial look indicates that it is MUCH smoother setup than it used to be:
"To install Cygwin/XFree86, simply run Cygwin's installer and select the 'XFree86-base' package from the 'XFree86' category."

To actually use it check out the user's guide at: http://cygwin.com/xfree/docs/ug/

Personally I'd do what I could to get a commercial version (e.g. Reflections) if you're stuck on windows.
