That depends on mobile phone service provider, I think
We all have e-mail addresses in form 371xxxxxxx_at_smsmail.lmt.lv, where xxxxxxx is our number. By default they are closed and if we would like to get e-mails then we have to send special sms to special service number to enable this feature.
And almost all my friends have enabled this feature :-)

We have some UNIX batch processes that send us e-mails when they have finished.
Does anyone have any experience of sending a SMS message to a mobile phone?
