Stephane,
We have the same objects, etc. in both dev and prod.
We only have a single database defined. When we
get to prod, we'll have to edit the tablespace physical
storage definition (in just one place) to change the
datafile definitions.
It is possible to use different methods to generate
DDL from the same definition. One method generates
DDL that containts storage definitions and one does
not. You don't actually need to change the way anything
is defined in Designer to switch back and forth between the
two methods.

So you're generating specific DDL for each
environments.
Do you have 1 db in Designer per Oracle database ?
Also, we have a requirement to be able to generate the
DDL without any tablespaces and storage clause so the
developers can do some prototyping in their own space.
The way we will handle that is to create a user
no_storage for each user and to do table
implementation without tablespace.
Anybody working like that ?
