  Be
sure to ask them about Micro$ofts new pricing method.  Also be sure to   find out why they are making their customers prove that they have the   appropriate number of legal licenses for each install of all M$   software.  This had our network guys running around looking for every   little piece of paper saying "M$ License" on it.

that it's to be used only in the case where a packaged application     requires it, or when there are
'tactical' exceptions, while Oracle is viewed as <FONT     face="Courier New" size=2>being 'strategic'.   However, given the     'challenges' with Oracle's new pricing <FONT face="Courier New"     size=2>methods, there is being given increased consideration to expanding     SQL Server's use.
Now, I know next to nothing about SQL     Server, and while I would appreciate the <FONT face="Courier New"     size=2>opportunity to learn it, I don't want to go to the presentation and     let the MS marketing droids
completely have their way, some reality checks need to <FONT     face="Courier New" size=2>be presented.     So, what questions/issues/considerations     should I raise during the presentation?       TIA!
