RE: Undocumented Init.Ora Parms

Taking a look at these parameters, I notice that the first two relate to a "NUMA POOL"? What is this? If anyone has read any of Clive Custlers novels - they would think "National Underwater & Marine Agency" :)

Any insight oh list gurus?
