Connor,

Thanks for the info. Is Direct I/O licensed with the Veritas Volume manager or the Database edition?? We want to be able to avoid double buffering, sound like Direct I/O is what we want, however our SysAdmin insisted that we need to purchase the Database edition, I thought Direct I/O came with the VxFS file system, maybe the SysAdmin confused Direct I/O to raw ,please clarify??
