<lol>I once worked in a shop where the lead programmer put a similar feature into the time reporting system. He built in a "default record" which would be applied automatically for any day on which you forgot to manually enter your time. The cool thing was that management actually know about this and liked it. The programmer sold it to management by pointing out that the "default record" would help ensure that there was always data on the time reports. Ya just had to love that line of reasoning<g>.
