At one point in time (96-98), I remember Digital Unix (OSF) used to be the platform of choice for Oracle.
I recently had an interview at some place and the guy was telling me that all the HA stuff comes out for HP first since they're supposed to be a more reliable platform than Sun. It sounds like the intial release platform might be changing to HP.
