I am getting following error in alert.log once in two days.

LGWR: prodding the archiver

The DB is 8.1.5 on Solaris 7.

When I referered to metalink, it says there could be some problem with the network in OS level. I am not sure how to track the error or where to look for this in the OS.

Could some one help me in finding the cause of this problem?
