Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> Standby database question
So my standby is in managed recovery mode.
i was curious internally how does oracle send the archive logs across from primary to standby machine(they are physically separate).
i know it goes via net8, does it do some internal fopen to write it out and apply it, or am i way out in left field here.
thanks, joe
