Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> run SQL command and not wait for result
I am looking for a way to run a SQL command or package/procedure/function without waiting for it to finish....bit like running a unix command in the background.
Other than using dbms_job or running kivking off and external procedure to run sqlplus, ....is there anyway to do this?
