what to do when one redo group file is in stale status?

hi, dbas:

i checked the v$logfile and see one of the redo log group file status is stale, and i checked the oracle reference , it said the file contents are incompete. and now,this group is not used when redo log switched.

    how shall i do to make it avaliable again?     thanks.
