Idle can also mean "just sitting there on one's fat posterior with nothing to do". Which is what I believe Kev meant, namely that Ross in minimally challenged. After reading some of what he's said in the past I wish I had soo much time on my hands!!!

Idle is when your gears are disengaged and engine running at minimum RPMs, vehicle usually not in motion, but possible in some circumstances (drift/downhill roll).
Idol is probably what you meant.
