found dead multi-threaded server ?

Hi all ...
I have an errror message in my alert.log like this ...
found dead multi-threaded server 'S000', pid = (12, 108)

note :
I use Linux RH. 6.2 and Oracle 8.1.6

How to solve this error ?
cause sometime my database is die ...
