Psycharis,
Do you have the database defined in your tnsnames.ora file? Can you connect via sql*net to this database shown behind the @ symbol?
We get this error when we don't have our ORACLE_HOME set properly. We have multiple versions of Oracle on the same Unix box.

Dear all
I am trying to create a recovery catalog for RMAN
On windows NT
And although I type:
>rman catalog user/user_at_database
>create catalog tablespace "tablepsace";
I recieve a error about TNS and
Service name.
Anyone came accros with something like this?
Thanks in advance
