Hi Ronen,

Designer also has the ability to 'reconcile' the differences between the repository and the physical database. Running this report gives you 3 options (output types) (if I remember correctly)

• the first gives a text report of the differences;
• the second will allow you to synchronise the repository with the database. i.e., the repository will be updated to reflect the state of the physical database;
• and lastly bring the database into line with the repository - it attempts to generate scripts that will modify the database, and make it the same as the definition in the repository. (things like dropping columns are beyond it, and need to be done manually; also dropping foreign keys which are referenced etc.)
