John,
That's probably because 9i the database is not due out till this summer. 9i the application server is what's shipping.

We currently have an Oracle 7 product that runs on Windows NT, and are planning to migrate to the Windows 2000 platform. The work will be started later this year (mid-year). Should we plan on moving to Oracle8i, or is it better to jump to Oracle9i?
I have some general Oracle 9i questions:
Is it currently available for Windows 2000? What has the initial reaction been (to 9i)? Any Web sites that provide any unbiased articles/reviews?
I have looked through web sites like metalink and orafaq, but haven't found much information about 9i. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
