Hi there ,
Previously , I have used Oracle and DB2 , talking to each other . We used , "Oracle Transparent Gateway for DB2" , sitting between Oracle and DB2 .
If you do not want additional software in between , I can think of a shell script on Sybase's side to which we will pass the data and some Pro*C program calling the shell script from Oracle's side ( with proper parameters etc.) . This is what is my first thaught ..... but lets look for a better option , which can be a database to database talk . Is it what you are looking for ?

Cheers ,
Rahul Rasal
