here are the 3 stooges (er... I mean stages): pre-mo, mo and PoMo

pre-modern = mythic reality and rationality exist in an undifferentiated state in human conciousness.

modern = product of colonial imperialism, industrial revolution, european rationalist "enlightenment", differentiation between "objective" and "subjective" realities, etc.

post-modern (PoMo) = an attempt (that went *way* too far) to "deconstruct" the "absolute" truths that imperialist/racist/sexist cultural frameworks were built on.

note: this will not help understand OCP
