1.At the same time you have to take the export of Oracle 8 objects with the
Export utility of oracle7.3
2. Run catexp7.sql in both the database (8.0.4 and 7.3)

Yes, it is possible. You should run catexp7 script to create v7-style views for export/import. Unfortunately, I don't remember details, check oracle doc. You probably have to do the export again.
