Export gave me errors. I had to reinstall 8.1.6 on solaris, make export from 8.1.6 on linux using 8.1.6 export from solaris and then import into 8.1.6.2 on solaris using 8.1.6.2 import on solaris. Yes, it is possible. You should run catexp7 script to = create v7-style views
for export/import. Unfortunately, I don't remember = details, check oracle
doc. You probably have to do the export = again.
