Oracle client processes on Solaris will reflect the size of the SGA along with any memory it has allocated only for itself. IN my particular 'problem' I had a db with a 700MB SGA, and the SA freaked out one day and asked me why all the client processes for this db had 710MB memory allocated. Well, it didn't make sense because when we added up all the memory that would have been allocated to this database along with the SGA's of the other databases, it exceeded the total memory of the box. Subtract the SGA size from your client memory total and you should end up with a more realistic number. Hope this helps. Hi,

I found that some of the Oracle user process consumes = memory as high as

Is there any tuning that I can do to control the = memory usage on each user
