We are using ESS E20 for last 8 months with IBM SP /AIX non OPS /RAW disks and it is working great.
Never had any problem with ESS.

Subject: Any experience with IBMs new ESS 2105 disks?

We are thinking of moving our production database onto IBMs new ESS
(Enterprise

Storage Server) 2105 model E20. Apparently this is a new disk array for the AIX
RS 6000 servers. We are running Oracle 7.3.2.3 OPS using raw devices.

One of our DBAs opened a discussion about his on Metalink and got some ambigous
answers. Has anyone had any negative (or positive) experiences with Oracle on
this new product?

Any info at all would be appreciated.

..tom
