Denny,

I'm told by doth Oracle and HP that a rebuild of the database is required when transitioning to 64 bit. Seems that the offsets into the files (ie: the rowid's) are not compatible.

Hi,

Are you sure about the rebuild required for the 32bit to 64bit upgrade ? I had tested this about a year back and I believe you just have to run the utlirp.sql script for the 32bit to 64bit migration.

Denny
