Hi,=20
we have external programs reading values from Oralce8 database that = need an
empty string, if no other value is available - i.e. instead of NULL: = How can
I tell Oracle that there is a difference between NULL ( nothing) and an empty string? ANd how can I tell my column to use the empty string as default value?
