I believe I answered this on _the_other_list.
We are running Solaris 2.7. Created a new Oracle_Home and installed the 8.1.6.0 CD. Installed the patch. Refused to link because of unresolved symbols.
Opened up an iTAR. No superfast response as expected based on Oracles emphasizing iTARs over telephone calls.
I suspect Oracle is trying to figure out whether or not to reply in a conference call or e-mail distribution list to all those who I suspect opened up iTARs against the new end-all, be-all, fix-all.
