What is the status of the package standard? Did you try re-running
standard.sql as sys?

Yigal, no dice. TRUNCATE is not the name of the function, TRUNC is. I get the error "identifier 'TRUNCATE' must be declared"

Replace "TRUNC" with "TRUNCATE".
