Yes. You will see stuff that resembles gibberish in the explain plan = if
parallel query takes over (A1, B1, things that don't refer to the = database
objects directly) plus you will see the keyword PARALLEL. Bear in mind = that
parallel query is more likely to happen if a table is partitioned = and/or a
full table scan happens on one of the larger tables. =20

You will also see the parallel slave processes in the OS.=20

You can also encourage parallel query by setting the degree of a table = or
index to be > 1. Setting degree to default can spawn a lot more = parallel
slaves than you expect.=20

I used to have a script that would display parallel explain plans in a = nice
neat manner, I think I got it from this list. Anyone?

Hi,everyone.
I configured the server to run the parallel option. Then I run a sql with a parallel hint.
Now , I wanna know if this sql has used the parallen execution plan. Can I see it in the sql's execution plan ( at sqlplus, set autotrace on = ).

Forgive my poor English.
Thanks in advance.
